Welcome to 2020!

Jan 15, 2020

The new year is here and we are excited to continue our journey at The Engineering Resource Center. Throughout last year we worked with many different and new customers located throughout North
America. We are excited to meet new customers and engineers and continue to bring value to them throughout the upcoming year.

Part design is hard. We get it! At The Engineering Resource Center, we have been a part of thousands of product designs and with those experiences, we wanted to let you know that we are here to help. Working through plastic part design can be a complicated and frustrating journey. You need a partner willing to work with you and share knowledge while launching a project. We know that there will always be risk of the unknown when it comes to new component design. Our goal is to help minimize that risk and help you get your part to production as soon as easily as possible.

In 2020 we have increased our offering to add aluminum tooling. This will allow us to further reduce our lead times and ultimately our cost. While aluminum tooling may not be appropriate in every application, we are excited to give our customers the option should they be interested.

In 2019, we also increased the largest press size on our operating floor. This opens even more doors to prototype parts both in terms of size and complexity. Having this increased size allows our
engineers to offer more tooling solutions without the fear of size constraints.

We also continue to offer small volume production. While we remain focused on the world of prototype components, the tooling we create is very capable of running thousands of shots. If your part is only destined to run quantities in the tens of thousands, there is no need to build another tool. You can feel confident that the tooling built at ERC is capable of running your production needs.

We continue to listen to our customers and their needs and work every day to accommodate our business to better serve our customer base. We understand how difficult the world of engineering can be. Our goal is to make it just a little bit easier. Our commitment to our customers is to be a partner
and resource that they can rely upon and trust.

We look forward to sharing more about our journey throughout the year. Happy New Year!
