We believe in community

The Engineering Resource Center is made up of incredible team members committed to giving back to the community in many capacities.

One area of focus for the ERC’s philanthropic contributions includes providing resources that strengthen education and development for area students studying science and engineering.

Inspiring young individuals to study science, technology and engineering is critical to exposing students to the rewarding opportunities available and ensuring a progressive path for our industry.

Habitat For Humanity

hfh-01Currently, more than 48.5 million people are living in poverty in the United States. The percentage of people without access to decent, stable housing is on the rise and housing supply costs are ever-increasing.  Each year, Habitat for Humanity offers several hundred low-income families in Wisconsin with safe, decent and affordable housing. Employees from the Engineering Resource Center were honored to support the mission of Habitat For Humanity’s Wisconsin affiliate by participating in a home build in the summer of 2014.

Together, the ERC team supported a volunteer group that built a home for a family in need in the greater Milwaukee area. Not only was the opportunity an incredible team-building experience with co-workers and other participants, it was a chance to give back by providing our time, passion, commitment and a few swings of a hammer to help improve the community we serve.
