Prototyping services for the meticulous requirements of innovative engineers.

The Engineering Resource Center understands that the next generation of prototyping needs a cost effective way to reduce time to market. We use experience and innovation to make quality plastic parts that produce results you can count on.

Why Choose The Engineering Resource Center?

  • Save money with our unique modular tooling system.
Our unique modular tooling system consists of our proprietary steel mold bases and a set of customer-owned inserts. The inserts require less time and steel to build, making it possible for our engineers to create plastic injection molded prototypes from your CAD file faster and at a lower cost than other prototype service providers. All of our molds are designed incorporating the highest level of quality and features that can be transitioned into use for low volume production runs.
  • Work with expert engineers.
You’ll work with engineering experts who understand the important role of prototyping while authenticating a design. Our team consults and designs prototype components with optimized parts in mind – facilitating a process that will help identify and reduce costly errors early in the production process.
  • Your materials & specifications, no compromises required.
Our full-time tool engineers are dedicated to the design of your component. They ensure that the mold design is optimized for your prototype part and the material you select.
  • Get to market, quicker and on budget.
We understand the crucial time frames and budgets our customers’ work within and the importance of speed-to-market. The Engineering Resource Center is able to produce simple open and close molds within 6-8 days and ABS plastic parts in approximately 48 hours.
  • Own your design, production details & intellectual property.
Unlike many prototype service providers, concept designs and production specifications are kept the intellectual property of our customers.
