The ERC team is made up of dedicated and knowledgeable design and production experts. The relationships formed with our customers do not end at any one point of the process. The collaborative nature of ERC’s culture is shared among our designers, engineering staff, toolmakers, and of course, our partners.

Matt Sweeney

Engineering Resource Center Manager

Matt Sweeney, ERC ManagerMatt Sweeney is the Engineering Resource Center Manager. He graduated from Ferris State University in 2010 where he received his bachelor of science in Plastics Engineering. While attending college in Michigan, Matt was exposed to many facets of manufacturing including processing, computer aided design, material science, and automation. He also gained experience in plastics manufacturing from his four internships in the beverage, filtration and returnable packaging industries. Matt comes to the ERC from a leader in the returnable packaging industry where he held the position of Process Engineering for three years. With the processing background and skills he has learned, he is able to assist the Engineering Resource Center in many ways.

When Matt is not working, he enjoys playing golf, snowmobiling, skiing and trying to be good at the guitar. Kyle Morris

Primary Engineer at the Engineering Resource Center

Kyle Morris, Primary EngineerKyle's main role is tool design and tool build oversight. He is a 2013 graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids Michigan. Kyle's major was Plastics Engineering Technology and he also obtained an Associates Degree in Manufacturing Tooling Technology. Kyle has spent time overseas in various manufacturing environments and has worked at several different companies during his college internships. Kyle can be reached at KMorris@theERC.com.
